Wimberly House Books and Gifts

Wimberly House Books and Gifts is a mission of St Michael's for Wimberly House Ministries, Inc. In the early 1990s, St Michael's purchased the Wimberly Home with the vision of an ecumenical outreach to serve the various needs of the people of Burke County. Currently, the Wimberly House serves 30 children with an after-school program, there is a senior's day out, Girl Scouts, Rape Crisis, and a certified professional counselor on staff. AA and Al-Anon also use the Wimberly House.

The Books and Gifts store will give all proceeds to the ministries of Wimberly House. We hope to generate $12,000 a year. We are located in the front parlor of the Wimberly House. Feel free to park in the back and come on in. We are open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am to 5pm and after church on Sunday. If you see any cars there, come on by during the week. If we are available, we'll open the store just for you! 706.554.6644.
